ABB Formula E: Street Racers

The exciting world of Formula E racing has just recently come to my attention and, so far, I think it’s pretty awesome! To be honest, I had never even heard of this sport until I was booked as a co-in-show narrator (if that’s not already word, it is now. You’re welcome ;)) for the TV program Formula E: Street Racers. It’s been really interesting getting an inside look at this fast-paced (relatively) new sport. I’m so thrilled to be a part of this series! Here’s a peak at one of the episodes:

Fran McClellan

My name is Fran McClellan and I'm a voiceover type person (voiceoverist, voice actress, gum flapper...whichever title floats your boat). It's not just my job, but my passion and I'm so blessed to be able to make a living out of having fun! I reside in beautiful Northern Pennsylvania, an area that is referred to as God’s Country (really…it’s on the welcome sign and everything).

My voice has been described as bright, youthful, energetic, conversational, friendly, and, millennial.

Some recent clients include Shutterfly, Miracle-Gro, CNN’s Great Big Story, Radio Flyer, Amana, Carrington College, Plato’s Closet, Nordstrom Rack, Planet Fitness, Family Life Network, and more.

My studio is equipped with ISDN capability, Source-Connect, and ipDTL. Alternatively, I can record on my own and send the files via e-mail, FTP, or cloud based service. From what I've been told, I'm pretty easy to work with too ;)

New Automotive Demo...YAY!!

I’m so proud and excited to finally unveil my brand spanking new automotive demo produced by Cliff Zellman at A-Mazing Demos!

Car spots are so much fun to do and I can’t wait to work with you on your next automotive brand commercial or car dealership spot :)

Trying out Twitter's polling feature

I'm pretty sure I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I've finally discovered Twitter polls! I recently polled the Twitterverse to find out how those in the market for voiceover services are going about finding and hiring talent for their projects. Despite the fact that I promoted the tweet and added some focused hashtags, I didn't get as much participation as I had hoped. I still feel, however, that the information is useful and I will probably use the feature again in the future. Here are the results:

Are you taking advantage of this polling feature? What other social media strategies are working for you?
